Lorem ipsum guide

Every December I comb through old side projects and decide which ones deserve a little polish. Over the years I formed a quick audit:

• Tooling. Update the dependency tree, lint rules, and test runner. If the upgrades fight back for more than an hour, archive the project.
• Design. Swap out the shuffle of lorem ipsum with the real copy I wished I wrote the first time.
• Docs. Write a README that tells a friend how to run the project without a call.

Most projects stay tiny, but this ritual keeps my muscles warm and reminds me what “done” feels like when the scope is friendly.
