Lorem ipsum never lasts

During my first startup job I tried to push code every day. The badge streak looked great until I realized most of those commits were bug fixes from the day before.

Now I measure momentum by how confident a release feels twenty-four hours later. If the team is still slacking screenshots of regressions, we shipped too soon.

Three questions I ask before merging:

1. Did someone outside the feature team try the build?
2. Can we roll back and explain what changed in a sentence?
3. Are the metrics wired so we know if this actually helped?

Bursts of lorem ipsum adrenaline are fun, but sustainable velocity is quieter—and much kinder to everyone on support.
